After surviving 25 years of British weather and British politicians we have escaped from the rat race to enjoy some sun, some relaxation and some quality time together. We intend to do this for many years. Perhaps you'd like to join us for a fortnight?

About Us

Our Croatian dream began in 2004 when a last minute holiday (and well deserved break) brought us to Croatia. We flew into Pula and stayed at a resort called Rabac. During that fortnight we walked our resort and the villages around, we drove to explore Istria and we took excursions to see more of Croatia...we loved everything. A year later we landed at Rijeka Airport, this time we hired a car, bought a map, packed light and with only a copy of the Rough Guide, a language aid, a notebook and some Kuna in hand we set off to drive the 750 mile coast of Croatia into Montenegro and back, stopping and exploring as we went. To cut a long story short, Starigrad Paklenica was the place we chose, but this was just the start.

Embarking on the new chapter in our lives, we have now moved here, leaving behind the cares of everyday life in the UK. When you come to visit, you’ll see why we exchanged the Mendip Hills for the Velebit Mountains and the murky Bristol Channel for the crystal waters of the Adriatic. Perhaps we’ll share a glass or two of Sljivovica and tell you our tales of landslides, vampires and some of the most charming, generous and welcoming people you could ever wish to meet...

Of course, if you want to challenge yourself, we’re more than happy to set you up with some demanding rides, serious climbing or high level walks. Just let us know what you’re looking for!
